Valpolicella D.O.C. Classico
Terroir: Our vineyards are situated in Valgatara, at the heart of Valpolicella, at an altitude of 200-300 meters above sea level. The diverse soil, rich in limestone and well-drained, sets the stage.
Vineyard: Embracing the traditional Veronese pergola system, most vines bask in the southern sun, perfect for cultivating premium grapes.
Grape Varieties: Corvina Veronese 65%, Rondinella 30%, Molinara 5%.
Alcohol Content: 12.00% by volume.
Harvest: Manual harvest takes place at the end of September and early October.
Winemaking: Fermentation occurs during harvest in stainless steel tanks for about 10-12 days with controlled temperatures.
Aging: Aged in stainless steel tanks for approximately 1-2 years, and a minimum of 3 months in the bottle.
Tasting Notes: A ruby red wine with violet reflections, of the right body. Aroma of red currants and raspberries, harmonious and velvety on the palate with a fresh hint of ripe fruit.
Pairings: Pasta dishes, white meats, and fresh cheeses.
